Brett Gordon Batton

Brett Gordon Batton is a writer and poet from the Foothills of North Carolina. She graduated with a B.A. in English and B.A. in Communication Studies from UNC-Wilmington, and an MAT in Secondary English from NC State University. She favors writing folk narrative poetry that explores folklore, traditions, and cultures around the world, but focuses most on Appalachia and her love for the Blue Ridge Mountains.
